Most “best podcast hosting” articles are written by people who never logged into the platforms they’re ranking. They rewrite the pricing page, sprinkle in affiliate links, and call it a review. You can usually tell within two paragraphs.
I started PodcastHostLab because picking a podcast host is more annoying than it should be. The plans look alike. The pricing hides the stuff that actually costs you. And half the comparisons online are just reworded marketing copy. Somebody should sit down, use these tools, and tell you the truth about them.
I’m Drew Molitor. I run this site, and I do the testing myself.
Here’s how that works. I sign up for the hosts, work through the real dashboards, and check the pricing against what they actually charge today, not what some two-year-old blog post claims. When a plan has a catch, a download cap, a fee buried in the fine print, a feature that only works on the tier above, I dig it out and put it in plain sight. When something is genuinely good, I say that too.
The rule I hold to: the recommendation never bends to the commission. This site earns affiliate income when you sign up through my links, and I’m grateful when you do. It’s what keeps the thing running. But if the host I earn nothing from is the right call for you, that’s the one I’ll point you to. A review you can’t trust is worth nothing to either of us.
