Which host is best if you want Apple, Spotify, and YouTube video at once?
Buzzsprout, for most shows. Its Audio + Video plan is $25 a month billed annually for 72 upload hours a year, and it publishes 1080p video to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube from one upload. Among the big English-language hosts, nobody else covers all three for one flat price. Podigee, a German host, does it too on plans priced in euros, and it adds the Spotify Partner Program, which Buzzsprout cannot promise yet.
The honest catch with Buzzsprout is that its Spotify video is not the same as Spotify monetization. Buzzsprout is not on Spotify’s live partner list, so by Spotify’s own count, a video show hosted there cannot join the Spotify Partner Program yet. If Spotify ad money is the point, the next section matters more than this one. Start with Buzzsprout’s free plan and upgrade to Audio + Video when the first video episode is ready. The free plan itself does not include video.
Which hosts can get a video show into the Spotify Partner Program?
Five, by Spotify’s own count. Spotify’s May 14, 2026 update named Libsyn, Podigee, Audioboom, Audiomeans, and Podspace as live partners whose creators can monetize through the Partner Program. Acast and Omny Studio were named as partners in January, but neither was on the May list, and Acast’s help center still says its shows cannot upload video to Spotify.
Of those five, Libsyn is the one most English-language shows will recognize. Spotify video and the Partner Program need its Advanced plan at $25 a month, and every plan comes with a 30-day free trial. The trade is Apple video: Libsyn does not have it yet. More often than you would expect, and it matters if you are picking a host on the strength of one announcement. These are the conflicts and the claims that need a caveat, as of September 23, 2026. - Flightcast: Apple’s directory lists Flightcast as live for video, dynamic video ads included, but Flightcast’s own site does not mention Apple video anywhere we could find.

Do you need to switch hosts to get video on Apple Podcasts?
Only if your host is not on the live list and you cannot wait. Apple’s format has to come from the hosting side, so a host that has not built it cannot send it, no matter what you upload. If you are on Transistor, ask to join the beta before you think about leaving. If you are on Libsyn and Apple video is the only thing missing, it is announced, so the cheaper move is usually patience.

What about hosts outside the US and UK?
Several regional hosts moved early. Firstory in Taiwan and LISTEN in Japan both publish Apple Podcasts video by their own announcements, and Disctopia does as well. Ausha in France still says “coming soon” on its pricing page even though Apple’s directory lists it as live, and ART19 describes its Apple video as a beta. Audiomeans and Podspace appear on both Apple’s directory and Spotify’s live partner list, though neither has announced it on its own site.
